Cooper River Bridge Run
Nearly 40,000 entrants signed up to take part in the 2010 Cooper River Bridge Run.The participants start lining up at 6:30 am Saturday at the starting line on Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant.The
route takes the runners, walker and wheelchair participants past the News 2 studios, across the Ravenel Bridge to downtown Charleston.The bridge run started in 1978 with about 1200 participants and
has grown in its thirty-two year history to one of the Lowcountrys biggest annual events.Check back for updates...
