Peugeot 306 Xr - 150,000kms - Only $3,400 - 1994 - Excellent Condition - Red - Blacktown Sydney

The first impression you will get when driving this sporty blood red 150,000km on the clock Peugeot 306 is that here is a car with class and character.

This beautiful 306, with its wide, low, fat stance and wheels set right out at each corner, spells good looks & guarantees excellent handling on the road.

This little cars' appeal as a value-for-money bargain package is strengthened even more when you take into account its list of standard features.

This cracker has power steering, height adjustable steering wheel and front seat belt upper mountings, remote control central locking, electric windows up front, heated rear view mirrors, intermittent settings for both front and rear wipers, four-speaker radio cassette, Kenwood 6x9's, split fold rear seat, tinted glass, long range driving lights and rear fog lights.

With its deep almost blood red coloured paint, alloy wheels, long wheelbase and short overhangs, this 306 has a sporty, purposeful, no-nonsense look.

It happily does without the frills and flashiness that tend to date some other mid 90's models so quickly.

Overall, the car's exterior paintwork is still good for it's age with just a few marks and a bit of the clear coat missing on drivers door - will come up a treat with a polish & looks good today.

The boot space is large and well designed for a small car.

The spare wheel is mounted externally under the rear which means a solid, flat floor and if you happen to get a puncture, no unloading of luggage to get to the spare.

The next thing you notice is no wheel arch intrusion, making the 306 one of the best small/medium cars in it's class for carrying those wider loads.

Both the rear seat cushion and backrest are split 60/40 and fold flat as in a wagon.

If you need extra length, the cushion sections can simply be lifted straight out of the car (they could even double as a picnic seat or cushion!).

Another thoughtful touch is the retainer for each seat belt that stops the belt falling down when raising the seats again.

When you are driving you will notice that Minor controls are generally within easy reach, except you have to get used to the turn signal lever being on the left of the column and remember that the horn is operated by pushing on the end of the left column stalk, so you can't wack it too hard to get the guy in front going at the round-a-bout.

The 5 speed manual transmission has well chosen ratios that assist in getting the best out of the 306's economical 4cyl engine.

The Peugeot 306 comes with an Engineers Blue Slip and is ready for 12 months rego.

Nothing to do just go to RTA 2 mins from my house and drive it home.

Too easy.

The Peugeot was also Serviced by the Peugeot Dealership only 400km ago and it's next service is due at 160,000kms - Thats 9,600 kms away or 6-9 months at least.

What a great Christmas bargain.
